apparently, I'm not the best anymore. LOL. I am uncool, a mean mommy, I am not liked. This is all according to my children. I'm guessing the only one who still thinks I hung the moon is Destiny and that's only because she's not here from day to day - only every other weekend. I'm not quite sure what I did to my 12 year old or if all 12 year olds think their moms are NOT cool. But that will hopefully simmer. I don't know. Being a mom to an almost teen is so much harder than I thought it would be!!! And the mean mommy and not being liked came from Colton. My sweet little 4 year old has turned into a ranting, raving lunatic when he doesn't get his way. This morning it was fighting over what shoes to wear and man, oh, man, when we didn't have time for him to get toys to play with on the way to school (less than 5 minute drive), the waterworks and the hateful comments started.
So yeah this is my life lately. I love those kiddos but I'd really like to pull my hair out today and most days!!!
I sincerely hope that I am not alone in this. Why, oh why, must my children behave like this???

Oh the pain!!! I feel for ya chicky. My son tells me "you're not my best friend mommy" "you're a bad mommy" "i just don't like you"
:(
aww.. hope it passes soon!
I think all kids are like that :(
Hugs! It'll get better, even if that's not for a while with your 12 year old, lol!
My kids do that from time to time as well.
"You bad Mommy!!" I hear from my 4 year old when I tell him he is on time out.
I hear ya! My kids rarely tell me I'm mean, but I've heard them tell each other "Mommy's mean." Still makes me sad.
UGH, I am SO not looking forward to this. I have 2 girls and so far, they still think I'm the coolest, prettiest person ever. Oh, if only it could stay that way!
I hope things smooth out soon for yoU!
I'm sorry. I dread that day when my kids don't like me. And I know there will be a time that they don't. Just sucks. Hugs Hun!
Aww ((hugs))!! It is definitely just something they go through. I am the most evil person around if you ask my son at times! LOL!!
Oh no, hope you have a better day tomorrow. My DD doesn't usually throw fits like that, but some days.... oh boy! You just can't wait for bedtime to arrive... lol.
My son went through a real ultimatum phase when he was about 5. If I don't get [whatever], I'm never going to love you again. I think they are just trying to exert some control over their little worlds! Hugs!
You didn't do a thing - those tween years are the hardest! Its sad - but I've convinced myself that its God's plan so that when they get a little older and have to leave for college it won't tear us to shreds!
