Wow!

So I was looking over my blog and realized that I really only blog about what's going wrong, not what's going right. I really don't want people thinking that I'm just such a complainer! LOL. I guess I just always think of blogging when I need to vent.
But I am actually a usually happy person! :)
My favorite thing in the world is to be with my family. Just the 5 of us or being with my whole crazy clan. My mom and my Aunt Sandi are my absolute strength -- especially with Dee gone. Sandi - she's just always there when I need her and I don't even have to ask. And my mom - forget about it!!! I talk to her nearly every day. Sometimes more than once :) She takes the kiddos every Saturday night - not just for a break for me, she honestly wants to have time with them - her time - uninterrupted. She takes time for their things at school. I don't know, once I became a parent, my mom and I just became so close. I depend on her so much for helping me teach my kids the right things. Not that Dusty and I couldn't do it, but my mom is just - well - the MOST amazing person. I just don't know what I'd do without her and I've almost had to deal with that twice (MOM - stay OUT of the hospital!!!).
I'm so happily married it's unreal. I know we have our arguements - but I wouldn't trade Dusty for anything. It's been almost 6 years that we've been married and sometimes I think we are just this boring old couple and then he'll surprise me with something funny and silly and amazing. We got married after only 7 months so people were very skeptical. LOL. Um, yeah, and he's 6 years younger than me. Hahaha...
But what gets me through the day and makes me smile more than anything - the kiddos. Lane, Destiny, and Colton. Geez - no matter how mad they make me, in most cases all they have to do is smile their little smiles and tell me they love me and I melt. Lane, he's just "too cool" for the lovey stuff lately and Destiny isn't here all the time, so I must say my favorite part of the day is when I pick Colton up from school. It's that excitement when he sees me. He starts pointing and jumping and yelling, "Mommy!!! Hey, it's my Mommy!!!" I have to wait in the pick up line, but he usually spots me about 10 cars back. His teachers laugh. He's the only kiddo that does it.
So the point of this whole, lengthy post is that my life is pretty amazing. I've got the love of a wonderful family and while we're broke -- all the time -- we have what we need and we have each other. :)

And I was going to post a couple of pages, but decided if you made it all the way through that post, I won't keep you any longer!!!

I hope everyone has a most fabulous weekend!

That is SO sweet! I think us moms forget that sometimes, esp. on hard days. :)

Awww...that is such an uplifting post. I know the feeling of a little one being excited when you pick them up. My son does the same thing and it just makes my heart melt.

What a great post! You're right, I think we get stuck in the complaining rut when we blog. Thanks for the reminder! :)

Awww...how sweet! :) I tend to use mine as an outlet for complaining, but it helps...and for the record, I don't think you complain a lot! What a wonderful family you have...thanks for reminding me to be thankful for mine! :)
